1) Personal Information we collect
You provide via our contact form: name, email, phone.
Automatic collection: We currently do not deploy analytics/advertising trackers. If we enable tools in the future (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) we will update this Policy and our Cookie Preferences to request consent before any non-essential cookies run.
Sensitive data: We do not intentionally collect sensitive data.
Children: Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.
2) Purposes of use
Provide, operate and secure our site and services.
Respond to inquiries; customer support and sales operations.
Compliance with law and to protect our rights, users, and the public.
3) Sources and disclosures
Sources: directly from you (forms, emails, calls) and, if enabled later, our service providers.
Disclosures to service providers (“processors”): hosting, security/CDN, form handling, CRM/email (e.g., future HubSpot/Mailchimp). We restrict their use to our instructions.
No “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by California law.
4) Global Privacy Control (GPC) & “Do Not Sell/Share”
We honor GPC signals and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link (even though we do not sell/share) to increase transparency and to allow you to control future changes easily.
5) Retention
We keep lead/contact information for up to 24 months from last interaction, unless we must keep it longer (e.g., legal obligations) or you request deletion sooner.
6) Your privacy rights
Depending on your state (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, etc.), you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising (not applicable today), as well as limit use of sensitive information (not applicable today).
How to exercise: submit our Privacy Request Form (link in footer), email info@halsteady.net, or use the contact details on our Contact page (phone option available there). We may verify your request and respond within the time required by law.
Authorized agents (CA): You may use an agent; we will require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
7) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8) International transfers
We currently process and store data in the United States.
9) Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post a revised date and, where required, provide notice.
